 SMA believes that rail has a future in the United States, in terms of high speed, conventional rail and mass transit. The key will be to know which good ideas can be applied to the specific case of the U.S. to develop an effective, coherent and coordinated strategy for the short, medium and long term.

  As part of the restructuring process of our company, the board of directors of SMA und Partner AG has introduced a new executive management, formed by Giuliano Montanaro (Head of the planning division) and Thomas Bickel (Head of the IT division). The actual CEO Werner Stohler will continue in his job until 31. December 2009. |
