The business units Long Distance Traffic and Regional Traffic use Viriato as a tool for medium and short term planning, and for conceptual studies. The division Infrastructure relies on Viriato for strategic long term planning. Since the beginning of 2003, SBB Cargo applies a special edition of Viriato for the management of the daily freight slots. |
